Big Country SHRM is committed to the safety and health of all our members and guests. As we start back with in-person meetings in January 2021, we strongly encourage everyone to wear facial masks and do your best to social distance. Tables and seating will be spaced out for social distancing.
As a member/volunteer of Big Country Society for Human Resource Management, wishing to volunteer my time and attend events with Big Country SHRM, (“BCSHRM”), I hereby acknowledge that BCSHRM is doing everything they can to protect the public as well as myself.
I agree to familiarize myself with the minimum standard health protocols issued by the State of Texas and follow them accordingly.
I acknowledge the contagious nature of any disease or possibility of injury and voluntarily assume the risk I may be exposed to or infected by any disease or injured by attending monthly chapter meetings or other BCSHRM events and that such exposure or infection or accident may result in personal injury, illness, permanent disability, and death. I understand that the risk of becoming exposed to or infected by any disease or being injured during these activities may result from the actions, omissions, or negligence of myself and others, including, but not limited to, BCSHRM members, volunteers, and program participants.
I voluntarily agree to assume all of the foregoing risks and accept sole responsibility for any injury to myself (including, but not limited to, personal injury, disability, and death), illness, damage, loss, claim, liability, or expense, of any kind, that I may experience or incur in connection with my participation in BCSHRM activities (“Claims”). On my behalf, I hereby release, covenant not to sue, discharge, and hold harmless Big Country SHRM, its members/volunteers, agents, and representatives, of and from the Claims, including all liabilities, claims, actions, damages, costs or expenses of any kind arising out of or relating thereto. I understand and agree that this release includes any Claims based on the actions, omissions, or negligence of BCSHRM, its members/volunteers, agents, and representatives, whether any disease or injury occurs before, during, or after participation in any BCSHRM activities.
