Topic: Distracted Driving

Speaker: Katie Alexander

Katie Alexander is a Law Enforcement Liaison with the Texas Municipal Police Association (TMPA) and a Police Officer with the City of Oak Ridge North Police Department. Katie is a TCOLE Master Peace Officer with experience in several areas of Law Enforcement. She has a Master's degree in Psychology from Our Lady of the Lake University and a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice from Sam Houston State University.

Summary:

Distracted driving is a dangerous epidemic on America's roadways. The message is simple: if you're on the road, stay off the phone! The Texas Municipal Police Association has teamed up with the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) to present this Distracted Driving course to Texas drivers. Please join us and thousands of other Texas drivers who have already taken the course as we make an effort to save lives. In order to truly combat the problem, we must change attitudes!
