  • Workforce Development/Readiness - Led by Marissa Ranstead. Continuously monitors and evaluates local activities addressing the broad spectrum of workforce readiness issues impacting both students and other untapped labor pools.
  • Public Relations Committee - Led by Kasey Nixon. The PR Committee provides oversight for all Big Country SHRM’s communication via social forums and social media outlets.  
  • Programs Committee - Led by Staci Benavides. The Programs Committee provides oversight for all Big Country SHRM’s communication via social forums and social media outlets. Our goal is to provide rewarding educational and social events and programming that promote the Human Resources & Business profession. 
  • Emerging Professionals/University Committee - Led by Phil Vardiman. The Emerging Professionals/University committee works with local universities and businesses to assist current and recently graduated college students along with other young professionals in bridging the gap from student to employee
