 Topic: Developing First-line Supervisors

Summary: Would you invest time and money into equipment and processes that could improve your profitability by 47%? Of course, you would. The key to organizational profit lies with our first-line leaders--the much maligned and ignored supervisors. In this presentation, we'll look at ways to better prepare, select, train and support our first-line supervisors.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Understand the impact of first-line supervisors on organizational success
  2. Know the key competencies needed for first-line supervisors to be successful
  3. Know the 6 C's of supervisor training
  4. Understand how HR can help supervisors be more successful

Speakers: Penny Miller, SHRM-SCP, SPHR, CEBS
