 Topic: Performance Management & Feedback

 

As a result of participating in this workshop, you will:

  • Understand how unconscious and recognized bias negatively impact organizational efforts for diversity and inclusion
  • Identify common biases present in performance management systems
  • Identify best practices for overcoming bias in performance management

     

Speakers: Dr. Jaime Goff, Certified Executive Coach & Leadership Development Consultant

 

 Prior to becoming an executive coach and leadership consultant, Dr. Jaime Goff had a thirteen-year career in higher education as a professor of Marriage and Family Therapy and an administrator at Abilene Christian University (ACU). Her administrative leadership roles included five years as Chair of the Department of Family Studies; one year as Associate Dean of the Graduate School; and two years as Dean of the College of Graduate and Professional Studies at the Dallas campus. In her role as dean, Dr. Goff led the initiative to launch five new master’s degree programs and two new doctoral programs, resulting in a 70% increase in graduate student enrollment. Other leadership accomplishments included building an academic leadership team consisting of three new assistant deans and seven new program directors; developing online onboarding and orientation courses for a rapidly expanding distributed faculty; and successfully leading the branch campus through seven substantive changes and two site visits with regional accreditors.

 

Dr. Goff has a Ph.D. in Couple and Family Therapy from Michigan State University and a Certificate in Executive Coaching from Southern Methodist University. In her executive coaching practice, Dr.Goff leverages her leadership experience and advanced education in executive coaching, systems theory, and relationship dynamics to help leaders and organizations succeed. Dr. Goff’s passion is helping women and diverse leaders achieve their leadership goals while remaining authentically themselves and positively benefiting their organizations. Dr. Goff has worked with leaders and teams from organizations such as Ericsson, the Duke University School of Nursing, the University of South Carolina College of Nursing, Abilene Christian University, Pizza Hut, UT Southwestern Medical School, Chick-fil-A, CitiBank, Baylor Scott & White, United Way of Dallas, and others.
